Engineer, curious about how things work.

I'm a software engineer with experience building desktop applications, backend services, media-processing systems, and embedded software.

My work spans independent application development, contributions to established open-source software, and academic engineering projects. I enjoy working with existing codebases: investigating performance bottlenecks, implementing new functionality, and improving how efficient and reliable the software is.

I prefer software that is efficient, maintainable and thoughtfully designed, and I'd rather understand the architecture underneath a system than only make features work. Performance, responsiveness and usability matter to me. I prefer simplicity where possible, and I'm willing to take on technically complex problems when the requirements justify it.

Currently, I'm a final-year computer science undergraduate looking for graduate and entry-level software engineering roles, in India, remote, or through international relocation.
